YO MY Goodness – Mornington
A burger bar which does a roaring trade. Before we get stuck into the burger I wanted to give a special mention to the curly fries. It has been a while since I have had curly fries and this was a great throwback. They were delicious.
To the burgers. We ordered two, my boy ordered a cheeseburger. Unfortunately, there is a bit of inconsistency between the two. His was mainly bread with a little bit of meat between the two (check the photo). I am big on the burger to pattie ratio being correct. It is the difference between a sandwich with meat and a proper burger.
Fortunately, my burger was a different experience. The meat was the star of the dish (as it should be). While a little dry, as it was slightly overcooked, it was very flavoursome. The accompaniments were fresh and the bun was delicious. It was a very high-quality burger. You could do a lot worse than eating here.
